Last saturday was YL's birthday and we went for a 3d2n staycation at Fairmont.
I LOVE STAYCATION! cause i get to NUA in the room without feeling guilty. hahahaha. When we travel, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GO OUT TO SEE SEE LOOK LOOK EAT EAT instead of staying in the room even if your room is super good.
Anyway, I was really lucky to have great friends! I managed to get a room not knowing that there will be NDP preview - which also means FIREWORKS! (well, we didnt get to watch the fireworks.- will tell you why later). And, having VIP service!
I am really Thankful for my friends to help and arrange these! YL was so happy and excited the whole time.
Initially i dont know what to plan for YL's birthday. Because we thought that we will just stay in SG, so i planned for a staycation. After doing some research etc, i suddenly thought of i could ask my friend for help. Finally hotel is done. Next i planned itinerary for the 3d2n.
When her birthday is near, i mailed YL a letter on her Birthday plans. LOL. And yes, YL was surprised of course.

There is a bathtub, and the shower is like rain-shower... The water flow is STRONG. LOL.
The complimentary water, tea and coffee. They are using coffee capsules, if you drink coffee - Good for you! Red wine and pringles are not free. haa. Moscato - MINE.

Dinner was at PS Cafe. We heard good reviews about their Truffle fries and being a fans of Truffle fries, we must try!

Truffle Fries $15! hehe. Very big portion! We only managed to finish half.
Foie Gras Salad, with Brioche on the bottom, and figs. $20
Mushroom Wellington $26. We didnt like this and ate 1/4 of it only. In the end, we asked to void this item from our check - successfully. Well, we asked for void not because we are stingy but we felt it is not worth paying.
Make reservation at least 2 days in advance! They have 4 outlets.

After the dinner, we went to watch Despicable Me 2 ! hahahaha. I still prefer part 1, ITS SO FLUFFY IM GONNA DIE! LOL.
