Verandah is a Contemporary Asian Bistro, they serve western and local foods. They also have a few pastries and waffles. We got to know this from my boss and they have lunch set at $15++ so we thought we should go and try~
We finally reach the restaurant after 15mins walk under the hot sun. =P
You will see the bar when you 1st step in.

Most of us ordered the $15++ lunch set.
The selection for lunch set are: Claypot tom yam soup with Rice, Roasted Rosemary half chicken or Beef Bolognese Pasta
The Lunch Set comes with a Coke or Sprite
Add $4++ for Soup of the day
6 of us had the Roasted Rosemary Half Chicken lunch set. The chicken is tender. :). No rosemary taste or smell though.
The tom yam soup. Colleague comment it is too Hot and not sour.
When you go with a group of people, how can you go without side orders right.
And when there's truffle fries on the menu, how can you not order it?! hehe.
The truffle fries is normal. But when you dip it into the steak sauce, it is pretty tasty. We like the steak sauce.
Sausage Platter - Cheese, garlic pork and smoked beef. Serve with caramelized onions.
I prefer sausages from Brotzeit. =P.
Who can resist waffles and ice cream!
Homemade waffles and choice of Chocolate or Vanilla Ice cream. When it comes, we all go 'Wow! looks so appealing.' Dont you think so?
Well, this waffle is not really to my liking as i prefer 1 that comes with crispy edges. So far, Udders still beat all. hahaha.

Overall, i feel the restaurant is worth to go for some drinks and chill after a long walk at Gardens by the bay. Plus it is air-conditioned.
If you drink beer, they serve Tiger and Heineken drafts, $9 for tiger and $13 for Heineken. They also have wines and champagnes.
Of course they have non-alcohol drinks like fresh fruit juices, soft drinks and water.
